@Recipe for ‚Poisson Cru à la tahitienne’

For those of you who would like to join us  on a culinary adventure: here the recipe for a national dish, Tahitian raw fish with coconut milk

for 4 persons

  • 600g fresh tuna (red or white)
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 grated carrot
  • Green onions
  • 3 small lemons/lime
  • 50l coconut milk

How does it work?

  1. Cut the tuna into small cubes and rinse them in salted water
  2. Dice the vegetables
  3. Mix everything together and add a pinch of salt and pepper
  4. Shortly before serving: Pour in lime juice, followed by coconut milk
  5. Tip: When stored in fridge, rinse off the lemon juice and coconut mild first so that the tuna doesn’t get soaked
